Printed Brochures
| "Brochure" is a catch-all term for a piece of printed marketing
material. Different customers have different ideas in mind when they
ask us to quote for printing their brochures! We will be able to help,
whichever kind you have in mind, but first lets just review the
basic types: |
| |
|

|
Simple
brochures |
|
The simplest type of brochure consists of a single sheet of
paper or card, usually printed on both sides, and generally
folded once or twice to give a few different "pages". (These
pages are really just panels of the same sheet). If you are
thinking of brochures like this, on an average thickness
glossy paper, then we call this a leaflet, and you can find
prices and plenty more on our leaflets
page.
These diagrams show some possible formats:
If you like the idea of these single sheet (folded)
brochures but want them printed on a thicker paper or card,
then visit the four
page brochures page. | |

| Booklet-style
brochures |
 |
|
The simple brochures described above can contain a maximum
of 6 sides of A4 (or A5, or a third of A4). But perhaps you
have more information to convey, or prefer the idea of a
booklet-style format. Booklets ususally consists of a number
of sheets of paper (two or more), which are folded and stapled
in the centre, to provide at least eight pages (sides). They
may feature a cover printed on thicker material than the inner
pages.
Other formats such as spiral bound and perfect bound are
available. You can see prices and further info on all these
types of brochures on our booklets
page. | |

Brochures
with pockets and inserts |
|
These are the kind of brochure that consists of a printed
outer folder, usually though not necessarily A4 size, with one
or two "pockets" on the inside into which you can inserts
printed inner sheets, such as publicity material, price lists,
a proposal letter etc. The inner sheets are normally quite
straightforward; some you may produce yourself, other parts
may be professionally printed and will probably be in the
booklet or leaflet formats discussed above.
The outer part, with the pockets, we call "presentation
folders" and you can learn about them here. | |
