Marie Curie Cancer Care is dedicated to the care of people affected by cancer and the enhancement of their quality of life through its caring services, research and education. The charity provides care for thousands of cancer patients in their own homes, with Marie Curie Nurses caring for around half of all cancer patients who die at home. The nursing is always provided free of charge to both patients and carers. The organisation also operates ten hospices across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
