Pantone Business Cards
For business cards where you want our closest match to your corporate colours
At PrintingDirect, unlike some online printing companies, we don't insist on producing your business cards (or other printing for that matter) in full colour. Many companies have well-established corporate colour schemes, and wish their business cards and stationery to be printed in those particular ink colours. This allows for the printing to be undertaken in one, two, three or more colours of the client's choice.
These colours are frequently described as Pantone colours. A "Pantone colour" refers to a colour identified in the Pantone Matching System, which is a worldwide standard for describing colour, owned by Pantone Inc. Pantone sell printed "colour guides" showing hundreds of different colours on different types of paper. Two parties in different locations who are both looking at current versions of the Pantone Guide can be confident that they are both looking at very similar colours. When a client or designer specifies a colour for a printing job they will often tell the printer what Pantone colour(s) to print it in.
