Under this system, we can provide you with a dedicated private page on our website, which could optionally carry your branding, and which would allow your staff to order and proof their business cards online, in real time, without the need to install any software - and without having to send any artwork. Many companies find this a very cost-effective way of ordering cards because it cuts down on a lot of administration time at the customer end.
In brief, we create a web-based business card template for you, based on your existing design, but with editable fields that your employees can complete with their own details. Pre-agreed rules ensure that the site will only allow fields to be completed in accordance with your company's policy, thus maintaining a consistent corporate appearance for your business cards.
We have created a demo site to give you an idea of how the facility would operate. The demo is of an imaginary company with two different styles of business card. Please feel free to personalise the cards, and test out the system. You should be aware that when a corporate user signs up to the system, we agree with them which fields should be mandatory and which are to be optional. The demo system has some of each. Some of the demo fields require that information is input in a certain format, for instance a company may require that telephone codes be entered in the format (xxx) xxxx xxxx to ensure corporate consistency. Again, you can choose whether or not to take advantage of this feature.
As you will see, the system generates a preview of the card exactly as it will appear when printed, so the employee approves an accurate proof of what his or her finished cards would look like.
Any of the fields or options that appear on the demo site can be removed or personalised to your requirements. For instance, one of the demo cards allows the user to select what type of material their cards should be printed on, but most firms would decide this at corporate level and not even have this field appear. Likewise, if we were to agree on credit facilities, there would be no need for the credit card fields to be present.
